Just finished the digital model for a new ‘abstract’ heart pendant.  It’s still anatomically accurate, but a bit more idealized and abstract than my other heart pendant.  The aorta also of course doesn’t bend and feedback into the left atrium – that would be pretty counterproductive! First up is a test print in gold-plated stainless.

Laser wood-cutting is a process I became really curious about, and I decided to have some pieces made that way.  The result?  These fine little pendants, produced in the now all-popular and sustainable bamboo.  I’m really impressed at the detail and accuracy of the finished product and definitely plan to expand into this material/method more.

The succulent bud pendant has made it!  Can’t wait to get earring versions of these done… Here’s a group shot of all currently available succulent pendants!

Sterling silver red blood cell pendant!  Available (of course) on Etsy! This one was done in the polished silver, and compared to another test print I had done months and months ago, this one is gorgeous!

Freshly photographed – the first in what I hope to be a series of honeycomb jewelry pieces, of course now available on etsy, printed by Shapeways (after 3D ‘hand modeling’ by yours truly) in matte gold coated stainless steel.

After doing a few searches, and not coming up with any anatomical heart ring holders done by anyone else (let me know if I’ve missed any!), I was excited to go ahead and do this myself. After modeling and a few test prints, the final result has been beautifully printed by Shapeways in stainless steel..

I’m happy to say I’ve finally moved into the cufflinks arena of anatomical and biological accessories: inner ear (cochlea and semicircular canals) cufflinks are now in the works and should be available on Etsy in a few weeks in glittering stainless steel. Here’s a shot of the model of the right-sided one!

I just received this gem in the mail thanks to Shapeways production: a gold plated stainless steel actual size inner ear pendant I ordered for a custom order for a lucky Etsy customer. Before I package it and send it off, this just had to photographed and shown off a bit. So classy!
